Two speeds, two ways to work

The brushless HyperShift™ motor lets you choose between 7,000 and 9,000 RPM. The lower setting is designed for controlled precision work, while the higher setting delivers additional power for removing bulk. This allows you to switch between different tasks during a haircut using the same clipper.

The accent lighting instantly shows which speed you are using: blue at 7,000 RPM and purple at 9,000 RPM. This means you do not have to rely on the sound of the motor alone to know which setting is active.

You select the speed; the motor responds to the hair

In addition to its two manually selectable speeds, the Vapor Switch features Adaptive Speed Control™. This technology automatically responds to variations in hair density to maintain consistent cutting power. According to WAHL, this helps deliver smoother, more even results in fewer passes.

Clicks or no clicks? The choice is yours

Do you prefer fixed click positions, or would you rather adjust the cutting length freely? The patent-pending Click/No-Click taper lever gives you both options. It switches without tools between five click positions and free-flow control. Simply lift and switch.

Reduced blade friction

The F32 Drift™ blade has also been upgraded. It combines black PVD chrome and DLC coatings with a built-in oil reservoir designed to reduce friction for cooler, smoother cuts. These are precisely the qualities WAHL has placed at the heart of this generation for detailed, precision work.

Bulk verwijderen, een taper opbouwen, de laatste overgang in een fade verfijnen. Niet elke fase van een knipbeurt vraagt hetzelfde van je tondeuse. Met de Vapor Switch geeft WAHL je meer mogelijkheden om je tool af te stemmen op je techniek. Twee snelheden, een verstelbare Click/No-Click-hendel en een vernieuwd snijmes vormen de basis. Het uitgangspunt: jij bepaalt hoe je werkt.

WAHL Professional presenteert de Vapor Switch als de meest geavanceerde tondeuse die het merk tot nu toe heeft ontwikkeld. Twee snelheden, twee manieren van werken

De borstelloze HyperShift™-motor laat je kiezen tussen 7.000 en 9.000 RPM. De lagere stand is bedoeld voor gecontroleerd precisiewerk; de hogere stand biedt extra kracht voor het verwijderen van bulk. Zo kun je tijdens een knipbeurt schakelen tussen verschillende taken met dezelfde tondeuse.

De accentverlichting maakt direct zichtbaar welke snelheid je gebruikt: blauw bij 7.000 RPM en paars bij 9.000 RPM. Je hoeft dus niet alleen op het geluid van de motor af te gaan om te zien in welke stand je werkt.

Jij kiest de stand, de motor reageert op het haar

Naast de twee handmatig te kiezen snelheden beschikt de Vapor Switch over Adaptive Speed Control™. Deze technologie reageert automatisch op verschillen in haardichtheid om de knipkracht constant te houden. Volgens WAHL helpt dat om gelijkmatiger te knippen met minder herhaalde bewegingen over dezelfde zone.

Klikstanden of traploos? Aan jou de keuze

Werk je graag met vaste klikstanden, of regel je de snijlengte liever traploos? Met de Click/No-Click-verstelhendel kan het allebei. Je wisselt zonder gereedschap tussen vijf klikstanden en een vrije instelling: de hendel optillen en omschakelen is voldoende.

Daarmee kun je de bediening laten aansluiten op wat jij prettig vindt bij het opbouwen en verfijnen van overgangen. De tondeuse weegt 288 gram en heeft een slanke, ergonomische behuizing.

Minder wrijving aan het snijmes

Ook het snijmes is vernieuwd. Het F32 Drift™-snijmes combineert zwarte PVD-chroom- en DLC-coatings met een ingebouwd oliereservoir. Dat is ontworpen om wrijving te verminderen en het mes koeler en soepeler te laten werken. Juist bij nauwkeurig werk zijn dat eigenschappen die WAHL met deze generatie nadrukkelijk centraal stelt.
